COMPUTERS For almost 30 years, there has been a battle of choice in acquiring a personal computer - Mac or PC. Lines were drawn and trenches dug on both sides of the argument. Today, Unix is the language of the internet, and personal computers have evolved to simply become functional workstations on the world-wide-web. There still are specific requirements that may steer a person in one direction or the other - a specialized software program, unique hardware devices, user familiarity/preference, asset-platform investment etc. Now more than ever, the consumer is driven by price, stability, ease-of-use and problem-free computing. PC's and Macs can peacefully co-exist on the same network, sharing available network resources (including internet access, vpn-services, network-volumes, shared application servers, email, printers etc).
